Education Services

Bring the benefits of professional coaching to your ski programme. Skiing is a true ‘sport for life’ building confidence and life skills in often challenging situations. Let us help you set up, or develop your ski club building a tailored training schedule for your students delivered by our expert coaches. Having brought through a number of skiers from a tender age to the British Childrens Ski Team you can be assured that your students will be in good hands.

Gravity has worked with leading schools over the last 10 years running after school ski clubs and delivering Skiing as a PE option within the school sporting curriculum. We can work with your students to work towards success in GCSE and A Level practical assessments as well as personal development through the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. From weekly indoor sessions in the UK to taking the team to the mountains to race, our coaches will deliver your school a comprehensive, quality service.

What else we can offer

Gravity can offer your University a training package encompassing indoor training in the UK and Europe to prepare you for BUISC and Varsity race series. We run exclusive University training sessions leading up to the BUISC heats et The Snow Centre with TAG Heuer Timing.

As well as support at leading schools championships in the Alps Gravity can offer preparation for a target race as well as on hill coaching support and race training at indoor and plastic slope races in the south of England such as the ESSKIA series.

Team Selection

Our team selection service uses FIS Approved gates and TAG Heuer Timing system so that selections can be made with data back up to be fair and equitable to all candidates. Typical Team selection sessions are 2 hours and for up to 50 persons. Your school will have free practice and help with course inspection and advice on tactics before the timing is activated. You will then be presented with the data at the end of your session in printed form. After your team is selected we can then run optional race training sessions to prepare for the competition. We can also offer advice on equipment selection, ski tuning and work with your PE department to prepare your team physically.
