It’s important nowadays to keep active, especially when you are young. Gravity is a great opportunity for school children and young adults to start a sport that is truly rewarding.

Skiing for the first time can be daunting, but we’re here to help. We share best practice, knowledge and help each other fulfil our true potential while also learning social skills.

Skiers are a friendly bunch. Getting outdoors is a bonus but making new friends with the same interests is a great incentive to pick up those ski’s and join us down the slopes.

Gravity coaches are friendly and professional. As part of the Cambridge Ski Club I have been attending race training at the Snozone in Milton Keynes for a couple of years now, and I have always been happy with the service provided. Even though I was initially sceptical about indoor skiing, I found the training very useful as preparation for the ski season. The coaches – Glen in particular – give everyone useful feedback, so that the training sessions are enjoyable for experienced racers and beginners alike.

Glen and Gravity as a company have for the past 3 years done our trials for our school team. Their timing system is excellent and has provided us with really clear information on who are the fastest slalom skiers. Glen is extremely friendly and works well with the girls, providing them with coaching where necessary. We will be using Glen and his team again next year.

Sophie Nicholas-Head of Skiing Godolphin and Latymer School

We had children from Winchester House School competing in the inter schools challenge in Les Houches, Chamonix. The Director of coaching and his staff were extremely professional in delivering a fantastic ski racing experience. They were highly knowledgeable about all the aspects of the sport and coached the children in a very professional manner.

Team Selection

fis-logoOur team selection service uses FIS Approved gates and TAG Heuer Timing system so that selections can be made with data back up to be fair and equitable to all candidates. Typical Team selection sessions are 2 hours and for up to 50 persons. Your school will have free practice and help with course inspection and advice on tactics before the timing is activated. You will then be presented with the data at the end of your session in printed form. After your team is selected we can then run optional race training sessions to prepare for the competition. We can also offer advice on equipment selection, ski tuning and work with your PE department to prepare your team physically.
