What’s it all about?

We run a monthly comprehensive training day for our athletes which is a great opportunity for a fun and productive athletic development. Athletes can join coaches at 7.45am and picked up at 4pm by parents. The day starts with the athletes joining our Skills Squad training session. This part of the day will be working on posture and standing strong on the skis throughout the turn. Later we work on foot speed and agility through a ‘Brush’ course to test skills.

Strength and Conditioning

Boot camp finishes off with two hours of dry land training and challenges with our strength and conditioning coach. Each Boot Camp you attend will focus on a new physical aspect of strength and conditioning specifically to improve your ski performance and team building games.

Introduction to Freestyle

Whether your an experienced Jibber or a Newby you’ll have fun with your team mates. We will be showing you how to stay balanced in the air and judge your take off and landings on the small kicker and box slide.

Gravity coaches are friendly and professional. As part of the Cambridge Ski Club I have been attending race training at the Snozone in Milton Keynes for a couple of years now, and I have always been happy with the service provided. Even though I was initially sceptical about indoor skiing, I found the training very useful as preparation for the ski season. The coaches – Glen in particular – give everyone useful feedback, so that the training sessions are enjoyable for experienced racers and beginners alike.

Benedetta Pacella-Cambridge Ski and Snowboard Club Racing Captain

Glen and Gravity as a company have for the past 3 years done our trials for our school team. Their timing system is excellent and has provided us with really clear information on who are the fastest slalom skiers. Glen is extremely friendly and works well with the girls, providing them with coaching where necessary. We will be using Glen and his team again next year.

Sophie Nicholas-Head of Skiing Godolphin and Latymer School

We had children from Winchester House School competing in the inter schools challenge in Les Houches, Chamonix. The Director of coaching and his staff were extremely professional in delivering a fantastic ski racing experience. They were highly knowledgeable about all the aspects of the sport and coached the children in a very professional manner.
